A Normal Day in Class
Sophomore Maddi Rivers explains her experience in Hendrix’s class.

“My favorite thing about Mr. Hendrix class was that he would give us the directions for a project and let us do our own thing with the guidelines that he gave us. He wouldn't get mad at us for personalizing our own work,” Rivers said.
Hendrix is known for is fun and outgoing personality. During class he makes many jokes and gets along with his students very well.

Hendrix wants students to succeed with everything they do. But he also cares about having fun and enjoying everything done in class.

“Go out have fun, know what your job is but know the difference between playing and hard work,” Hendrix said.
Sophomore Brittany Buff shares her experience in Hendrix’s class.

"A normal day in Mr. Hendrix class is coming in and checking the board then begin working on your assignment/project we are working on,” Buff said.

Hendrix is also the assistant soccer coach. He tries to put forth his best efforts at both teaching and soccer. But it does get tough to balance out both of them.

“But if it's something you enjoy you will always find a way to balance it out. If you are passionate about both things it does get difficult to figure out how to balance it out,” Hendrix said.

Whenever Hendrix is not coaching soccer or teacher at blythewood high school. He likes to spend most of his free time outdoors.

“Mostly I like to go do stuff out in nature, I like to go fish and hiking a stuff like that as well my favorite thing doing after school is really growing my hair out,” Hendrix said.

Hendrix loves coaching soccer very much but he says if he could coach any other sport it would be golf.
“I like the way it's, you know you have to let one go, you make one mistake get over that very quickly,” Hendrix said.

Everything Hendrix does for Blythewood High School and the Blythewood soccer team shows he cares about his student being themselves and having a good time.

“Just be yourself. Figure out who you are,” Hendrix said.
