James Palmer, III, Appointed to West Point

Blythewood High School senior James Palmer, III, has been appointed to the United States Military Academy at West Point.

James has received various honors and awards.  He is a member of the National Beta Club, the National Honor Society, the Science National Honor Society, the National Spanish Honor Society, and Blythewood By Design Leadership Team. He is involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Teen Talk, Center for International Studies and Languages, and Boy Scouts of America.  He was the Rookie of the Year for Varsity Cross Country at Blythewood.  He lettered in Track and Field and has an academic letter.  James was the recipient of the All-American Scholar Award and earned Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America.
