Graphics Students Place At South Carolina SkillsUSA

The Blythewood High School Graphic students participated in the South Carolina SkillsUSA, which is the graphics state finals.

Teagan Dillon, Jayson Jeffers and Patrick Dixon (with a near perfect score and BHS first time participating in this competition) – This 1st Place win has also earned them the opportunity to go to Nationals.

Blythewood High Schools chapter of SkillsUSA also received a large monetary reward for having the Highest Increase in student membership in South Carolina.

The Phoenix Challenge - International Flexography Competition Students competed in the areas of theory knowledge, math applications, platemaking, press operations, and pre-press. These in depth competition took place over 3 days in Charlotte, NC, and they competed with teams from all across the US and Canada!   In this competition they came home with 5th and 6th place.
