Graphics Students Place At South Carolina SkillsUSA

Displaying BHS Graphics Team 2 Morgan Rampey and Max Lenker .jpgTeagan Dillon, Jayson Jeffers and Patrick Dixon (with a near perfect score and BHS first time participating in this competition) – This 1st Place win has also earned them the opportunity to go to Nationals.

Blythewood High Schools chapter of SkillsUSA also received a large monetary reward for having the Highest Increase in student membership in South Carolina.

The Phoenix Challenge - International Flexography Competition Students competed in the areas of theory knowledge, math applications, platemaking, press operations, and pre-press. These in depth competition took place over 3 days in Charlotte, NC, and they competed with teams from all across the US and Canada!   In this competition they came home with 5th and 6th place.

Team 1 - Cody Turner and Kenny Benton (2nd highest press score and judges praise on staying the coolest under pressure and having the best teamwork)


Team 2 - Morgan Rampey and Max Lenker (3rd highest press score)
